First post!

 Good afternoon!

My name is Ariel Sein. I am currently a senior at Florida State University, and my major is Political Science with a minor in Criminology. Post undergrad my plan is to attend a law school in Orlando FL which is where I am from. All my life I have always been interested in the legal realm, and while I know my life is most likely not going to be as exciting as it's portrayed in TV shows like Suit's, I do look forward to the career. I think my personality and the skills that I have would be best utilised as an attorney. Nevertheless, I am excited to be finishing up my time at Florida State and grateful for the opportunity I have had to study from here.

In my personal experience I have seen technology play a fundamental role in my education. I have memories that goes as far back as the 3rd grade, with my class being chaperones down the elementary school hallways to the "Computer Lab" (essentially, just a room full of computers) and having us all log into a software that would help teach us math in a fun and creative way. In middle school, the innovation of "Smartboards" were released which allowed teachers, more particularly those teaching STEM courses, to write and teach with a greater ease. In high school, the dependency on technology increased, with me being given a laptop by the school I attended, for purposes of using canvas and completing school work. Of course, with being a full remote student, I am now 100% fully dependent on technology in order to learn and pursue a greater level of education.

I would say my greatest learning resource in the last couple years would have to be the FSU Library. When I attended FSU in person, if their was ever a required book for a class I needed, the physical library would be my first place to look. I would also, and still do now, utilise their online portal where they have thousands of papers and articles published. Access to this network is ideal because it allows me to see which material has been made credible through peer-review and is worth to citing whenever I am writing any paper.
