A paragraph about your initial experiences using Diigo.  What do you like/not like about using Diigo?  My initial experience with Diigo was enjoyable. I appreciated the fact that I could interact with all the students and the items they found. I especially liked  the extension tool. Its such a practical tool that useful in any scenario that I'm studying with. Honestly, my only complaint is that I didn't know about it sooner.  A paragraph about your experience with blogging. What do you like/not like about blogging?  What have you learned, so far, during the blogging process? Blogging has been a relatively fun experience for me. I say this because oftentimes I get to express creativity in my writing which I enjoy. The topics are always fairly interesting as well. It also allows me many times to reflect on the work I completed in this class which does make me feel a bit more productive.  A paragraph about an interesting Web 2.0 tool that you might u...

Your early experiences using Twitter (X) or Instagram for your Personal Learning Networks. With whom have you been interacting and how have you found it beneficial? How might Twitter be helpful in your future career? I was first exposed to Twitter in Highschool. The app was actually a tool my AP Art History teacher made us utilize for our assignments. While it was a creative way to do my assignments, I don't think I will be useful in my future since quite frankly I don't enjoy the platform and did not see it being of much benefit to me. That being said, I perhaps need to give it some more time to warm up on me since I only utilized it for homework purposes.  The digital divide. The mo...

Are there any lingering questions, concerns, or ideas? Feel free to share your reflection.   Unfortunately, as students grow and expand on their writing, copyright and fair use is likely an obstacle they will have to learn to overcome. From personal experience as a student, I remember moments where would take text and quotes from different sources and use them without realizing they were not under fair use guidelines . In the same way, I expect most students, if they are learning how to right research papers and implementing resources into their work, to stray away from the guidelines. I believe the best way to minimize this would be by building a strong foundation when it comes to how to properly cite work. One new thing I learned a...

A paragraph about  Florida Computer Science Standards Links to an external site. . Select a grade level. Choose one of the standards listed and describe it in your own words. Do you feel prepared to implement this standard based on your current skill set? Why or why not?  The grade level I chose to review is the grade 3-5, and the standard is  The impact of computing resources on local and global society. This standard focuses on teaching online ethics to students to combat cyberbullying, and how to use the technology as means of unifying people of different cultures and backgrounds, instead of creating division. I do believe I can implement this standard because I believe the ethics behind the standard come natural to most human beings meaning it would not only be easier to teach, but also easier for anyone to grasp. A paragraph about the   CPALMS Links to an external site.   Educator Toolkit. To access the Educator Toolkit, select "I am a Florida...
